The sugar refinery-distillery carries out seasonal sugar production and pulp drying activities, in addition to alcohol production and household sugar packaging activities all year round.
The site employs 185 permanent staff, supplemented by 45 seasonal staff during the sugar beet campaign. The sugar refinery-distillery processes the sugar beet produced on 11,000 hectares cultivated by 550 cooperative growers. Its average sourcing radius is 34 km.
